Rivian shares rose 8.63% to close at $11.96 after reports that Volkswagen plans to invest $5 billion in the company as part of an electric vehicle joint venture. The German automaker will invest $1 billion immediately and another $4 billion over time. The joint venture will focus on developing the next generation of battery-powered vehicles.
Lucid Group Inc. LCID
Lucid Group shares closed down 2.34% at $2.50 on Tuesday after the company announced that it had appointed Nick Twork as head of global communications. Twork will oversee Lucid's global communications team and will report directly to Lucid CEO Peter Rawlinson.

Micron Technology, Inc. MU
Micron Technology shares rose 1.52% to close at $141.12. Rosenblatt analyst Hans Mosesmann maintained his $225 price target and recommended buying Micron shares, predicting better-than-expected earnings and price increases as the company enters one of the most significant memory cycles in history.
Novo Nordisk NVO
Novo Nordisk shares rose 3.25% to close at $146.91 after Novo's weight loss drug Wegovy was approved in China. China, the second most populous country, is estimated to have the world's largest number of obese people. Read more here.

Tesla shares rose 2.61% to close at $187.35. Emil Michael, former chief operating officer of Uber Technologies, recently expressed skepticism about the economic viability of robotaxis, citing their high production costs.
