Travel Leaders Network has appointed some well-known figures in the industry to its global travel agent network.
The organization announced Thursday (June 27) that Cynthia Landry has joined as the new internal sales coordinator for the Canadian team.
In this role, she will support the sales team to help achieve the overall goal of increasing sales volume, serving the needs of Canadian members and supporting the Travel Leaders Network Canada team.
Landry is a seasoned sales, marketing and business development professional with more than 15 years of experience in customer service, working in sales and operations in the finance, travel and tourism industries.
She joins Travel Leaders Network from the supplier side of the travel industry after working for Rocky Mountaineer for over eight years as Sales Manager for Eastern Canada.
Landry will report to Canada Vice President Christine James, who said she is confident Landry will bring a fresh approach and be a great asset to the team.
“We are incredibly fortunate to have Cynthia join the firm, as she brings a wealth of industry knowledge from across a range of industries, including travel and tourism,” James said in a statement.
Landry holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Moncton and is fluent in English and French.
“I am excited to join Travel Leaders Network and be part of the incredible team across Canada,” said Landry, who began in his new role last month. “I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity to re-enter the travel industry with such a great company. Everyone within the organization makes Travel Leaders Network unique.”
