Applications are now open for the 2024 Visit Portugal Travel Trade Marketplace, one of the industry’s premier trade events.
The event, taking place in the Algarve, Portugal from October 20-27, will provide agency and tour operator attendees from the U.S. and Canada with the opportunity to build new business and make connections with key partners.
The Visit Portugal Travel Trade Marketplace, taking place from 20th to 27th October in the Algarve, Portugal, will offer travel advisor and tour operator attendees the opportunity to build new business relationships and connect directly with key partners.
Delegates must pay 150 Euros before the event, which covers all travel, meals, accommodation and domestic airfare after the tour in Portugal as outlined in the event program. Participants must fill out an application, but only companies from the United States and Canada are eligible.
Applications will close on July 5th and reviews will continue until July 12th.
Applicants will be notified of the status of their selection as placement is not guaranteed. Due to limited space, we may not be able to accommodate all interested individuals.
To accommodate new participants, travel advisors who joined the Marketplace in 2023 will not be considered for this edition.

The 2023 event will be the first major industry event to be held in Portugal since the pandemic, with over 120 buyers and 60 sellers from Canada and the U.S. The 2024 event will also allow visitors to learn about the country's seven regions and take part in post-show tours.
