Veterinarian Dr Chloe Breiting shared the video on her Instagram page, with the caption explaining the story of the baby gorilla named Mvogu.

“As humans' closest relatives, gorillas experience the same trauma, fear and grief as we do, and after experiencing such adverse events at the hands of humans, it is extremely difficult for them to regain trust,” the doctors wrote.
“Mvogu's parents were killed by poachers for bushmeat, and he was kept by villagers who later sold him. Luckily, aged four months, he was later rescued and began to trust humans again after a few days.”
The video shows the cub with its new “mama,” who will stay with the cub until it turns two years old, after which it will be released back into the wild.
