Why do we need this?🤔
This crossbody backpack was the only “bag” I brought with me on a whirlwind trip through Italy that included Rome, Cinque Terre, Florence, and Pompeii, and it held up incredibly well throughout my 10-day adventure. This is no small feat; it was drizzling most of my stay, and there were days when I walked over 20,000 steps. The bag not only had to withstand wet conditions, but also heavy use, including frequent putting on and taking off, adjusting straps, and opening multiple times a day. It also had to carry enough items for up to 12 hours of sightseeing.
And folks, it performed great.

The real value of this bag is how tidy and compact it is, yet still packs a lot of storage and organization. It has a ton of compartments, a large main zippered compartment, a slide-in pocket that clips together with the bag, a small zippered compartment on the front, mesh water bottle holders on both sides, and a small zippered pocket on the strap. With all of this, you're prepared for anything. On one day, I was able to pack a variety of things, including a travel umbrella, a reusable water bottle, my wallet, my passport, a guidebook (thanks Rick Steves), snacks, sunglasses, a shawl, my Kindle, an external battery and spare cords, earphones, my iPhone, toiletries and medications, and a selfie stick. Whew! That's a lot considering the bag isn't that big, measuring 15 x 7 x 3.5 inches.
Oh yeah, it was comfortable. The shoulder straps are generously padded, but if your shoulders get tired, the bag converts into a waist pack (not necessarily designed to do that, but it works well enough). It's also easily washable; my favorite sugar-free Red Bull spilled into one of the pockets, but I simply rinsed the bag in the hotel and let it air dry, and it was perfectly fine the next day.
