— Enhancing rural access to healthcare through AI eHealth solutions
VANCOUVER, BC, June 28, 2024 /CNW/ – UniDoc Health Corp. (CSE: UDOC) (FRA: L7T) (OTC: UDOCF) (“UniDoc” or the “Company”), an innovator in the eHealth field, is excited to collaborate with the Municipality of Ariano (Matera) to install an H3 Health Cube at the Territorial Health Centre. Led by Mayor Luigi De Lorenzo, the initiative aims to improve primary health care services for the citizens of Ariano.
Key highlights:
The HealthCube Center will provide essential medical services directly in Ariano. Advanced eHealth AI and connected medical device technology will reduce the need for long-distance travel. Continuous health monitoring and remote consultations will be made available to the community.
Mayor Luigi De Lorenzo said: “With a particular focus on the distance to the local hospital and the challenges facing our community, I would like to present the innovative solution of the Health Cube Community Health Centre by Canada's Unidoc Health, to better support the essential activities of medical practitioners in particular. This will be a step towards improving community health support in Ariano and the surrounding area”.
The purchase of the AI-powered H3 Health Cube was previously announced as part of the Italian Government's designation of UniDoc Health as the preferred eHealth solution for rural areas.
Ariano's geographical challenges, with local hospitals being far away, are a major barrier to receiving timely medical care. The nearest hospitals, such as the Madonna delle Grazie Hospital in Matera (113 km away) and Giovanni Paolo II Hospital in Policoro (65 km away), are difficult to access, especially for patients who need frequent or urgent care. The Health Cube Center addresses some of these challenges by providing a range of diagnostic, monitoring and care services locally.
Equipped with telemedicine technology and advanced medical equipment, Health Cube is designed to provide accurate diagnosis, remote specialist consultations, and continuous health monitoring. These services are essential in managing chronic diseases and providing instant diagnostic tests. Additionally, personalized preventive programs and regular health monitoring can detect abnormalities early and ensure timely intervention.
The Health Cube Center will streamline Ariano's medical services by organizing the continuity of care and facilitating remote monitoring by doctors. In case of severe symptoms, the center will direct patients to the appropriate hospital department, ensuring a faster and more efficient care pathway. The initiative is expected to reduce the travel burden associated with disease prevention, monitoring and post-hospital care.
Antonio Baldassarre, CEO of UniDoc, commented: “This collaboration with the Municipality of Ariano is a step towards bringing advanced healthcare solutions to an underserved area. The installation of our Health Cube aims to improve healthcare accessibility and efficiency for local residents. We aim to have the Health Cube installed on-site by the end of this year.”

Rumble Strip Media Inc., Address: #893 250-997 Seymour St, Vancouver, British Columbia, V6B 3M1; Email: [email protected]) is a Vancouver-based media and consulting company.
