Rail passengers will face a third consecutive day of disruption on Thursday due to a strike by train drivers, which will once again paralyze services.
Aslef members from LNER, TransPennine Express and Northern Trains were removed for the day after similar actions were taken by other operators over the past two days.
LNER will operate more than 40 services between London, Edinburgh and West Yorkshire, approximately a quarter of its normal schedule.
Athle members, 16 railway operators, continue to impose a one-week ban on overtime, which will also disrupt service until the weekend.
Due to strike action, the Gatwick Express is not running.
Elsewhere on the transport network, the M25 is experiencing heavy traffic jams counter-clockwise from J27 M11 to J25 A10 (Enfield) due to closed motorway lanes.

Truck stuck causing major delays at M25 Dartford tunnel

Truck stuck in M25 Dartford tunnel counterclockwise from J1a A206 (Dartford) to J31 A1306 (Lakeside/Purfleet), causing significant delays and two lanes closed for recovery works .
J4 Traffic is heavy on the way back to Orpington, with long queues on the A2 past Gravesend back to the M2 and around J1a and J1b through Dartford and Greenhithe.
The tunnel on the right has been closed to traffic since 6:35 a.m.

Industrial action is affecting many National Railway services from today until Saturday.
The ASLEF and RMT unions announced strikes affecting various rail operators on different days.
