Crews will be working on five highway projects this weekend, including Route 60, Interstate 17 and Loop 101.
The following work is scheduled from Friday evening, May 10th through Monday morning, May 13th.
Southbound Interstate 17 will be closed between State Route 74 and Loop 303 in north Phoenix from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for a pavement improvement project.
The southbound Interstate 17 on-ramp at Daisy Mountain Drive and Pioneer Road will also be closed. Detour: Exit southbound I-17 to westbound SR 74 and take southbound Lake Pleasant Parkway to eastbound Loop 303.
Northbound Loop 101 will be closed between U.S. 60 and Broadway Road from 9 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday for pavement improvement work.
Both northbound US 60 ramps to Loop 101 will be closed. The northbound Loop 101 entrance ramps at Warner Road, Elliott Road and Guadalupe Road will also be closed. Detour: Take the exit before the road closure and consider using the northbound The Price side road before connecting to northbound Loop 101 beyond the road closure. Other local routes include northbound Dobson Road and McClintock Drive.
Eastbound US 60 will be closed between Loop 202 and Crismon Road in Mesa from 9 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday for lane marking work.
Both eastbound Loop 202 ramps to US 60 will be closed, along with the eastbound US 60 entrance ramps at Power and Ellsworth roads. Detours: Drivers heading east on U.S. 60 may consider exiting before the closure and using local routes, including eastbound Baseline Road and Southern Avenue, to travel beyond the closure. Masu.
Eastbound I-10 will be narrowed to three lanes between 40th Street and US 60 from 10 p.m. Friday to 2 p.m. Saturday due to construction.
The eastbound I-10 ramp to eastbound US 60 will be closed. Detour: Consider using the eastbound I-10 HOV ramp to eastbound US 60. NOTE: The eastbound I-10 exit ramp at Baseline Road will be closed for approximately two months starting Friday at 10 p.m. for reconstruction. US 60 will be closed between Center Street (Whitman area) and SR 74 from 11:00 PM Friday to 3:00 PM Saturday and from 11:00 PM Saturday to 3:00 PM Sunday due to pavement seal work. It will be narrowed to one lane in both directions.
Detour: Motorists westbound on U.S. 60 can take northbound Loop 303 to northbound Lake Pleasant Parkway and westbound State Route 74. Eastbound US 60 drivers (from Wickenburg) take eastbound SR 74 to southbound Lake Pleasant Parkway, then southbound Loop 303 to Grand Avenue. You can consider accessing it.
