The metro area is also home to some of the best computer science and information technology programs in the country, including Emory University, Georgia Tech, Georgia State University, Spelman College, and Morehouse College. Since opening our first office here more than 20 years ago, we have invested in, supported and connected our local community to support Atlanta's continued growth.

Morehouse College's new technology space
Today, we're opening a Google annex on Morehouse College's campus. We worked closely with Morehouse's Computer Science, Chemistry, and Institutional Advancement departments to equip the space with smartboards, HD projectors, desktop and laptop computers, and other technology to support both instruction and collaboration. created. Tech Exchange Student Celebration
We're also preparing to welcome 170 talented students from across North America to Atlanta for Tech Exchange's culminating celebration. This virtual semester-long academic program is designed to empower students attending select Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSIs). Tech Exchange equips students with essential computational skills through courses such as Applied Data Structures and Software Development Studio taught by Google Engineers and his renowned HBCU and HSI faculty, while also providing professional networks and a close-knit community.
