Aeronology also provides airfare and ticketing technology services to Saber, Travelport, Amadeus and TravelSky.
“We are extremely proud and honored to have been selected as a global supplier of airfare and ticketing technology to a prestigious company like Virtuoso,” said Russell Carstensen, CEO of Aeronology. Stated.
“Virtuoso is a leading global network for luxury travel, and its advisors are unparalleled in both destination and product expertise.
“It is our mission to support these advisors in an increasingly fragmented and complex aviation service.”
“Our technology addresses the needs of three types of travel advisors. First, we serve non-GDS and non-IATA users. Second, travel advisors are powered by GDS. But it doesn’t have IATA,” Carstensen continued.
“And thirdly, large host travel advisors who have both GDS and IATA but need a full ticket center solution for travel advisors and ICs.”
Aeronology's services will launch in late June 2024 in the North American market, with other global markets expected to follow soon.
