The W stands for the Celtics taking the title from the Los Angeles Lakers to become the NBA's winningest team. Jason revealed his new nickname is “Champ” in an Instagram Story on Tuesday.

As players, families and fans rushed onto the court to celebrate the Boston Celtics' victory, Tatum was joined by his son, Deuce.
Cameras captured the heartwarming moment the 6-year-old son congratulated his father with a big smile and hugged him as he bent down and cried tears of happiness. Jason responded by tossing his son into the air as confetti rained down from the ceiling. The two held each other for a few seconds before the father lowered his son to the ground.
This isn't the first time Deuce has been spotted cheering on his dad: In fact, the 6-year-old is a regular courtside, often seen wearing Celtics green and a mini version of his dad's No. 0 jersey.

Speaking of sons and fathers, here's reason number three why Jayson Tatum is such a hot topic: After winning the championship, the NBA star and his pals attended a celebration that apparently included singer Ella Mai.
Cameras captured her in the middle of the club wearing a Jayson Tatum jersey that revealed what appeared to be a round belly. The footage quickly sparked pregnancy rumors, with fans turning their attention to Jason, given the jersey and the fact that they have been spotted together frequently since 2020.
Meanwhile, despite the online uproar, Ella and Jason have denied the pregnancy rumors online, and it should be remembered that the couple has valued their privacy for some time.
Neither of them have ever confirmed they're romantically involved – in fact, she told the Breakfast Club host in 2022 that she's “not the kind of person to talk about relationships.” [her] “Dating life.”
It's unclear how close Ella is to Jason's family, but Deuce is apparently no stranger to the singer: According to People, Deuce and Daddy Tatum attended My's Boston show during her “Heart on My Sleeve” tour in 2023.
