This has led to a number of posts being taken to social media by residents venting their frustrations and sharing their suffering due to the heatwave. One such post by X user Bhumika has gone viral.
Bhumika shared a picture of a box filled with what appeared to be a brown liquid, but the caption read, “Dear Besan Ke Ladoo. Welcome to Delhi!”, suggesting that the solid ladoos inside the box had melted into a puddle in the city's sweltering heat.
