Highly-anticipated prospects for FSU (continued)
-Defensive end Jalen Wiggins (UF commit)
Short synopsis: Florida State football fans have been frustrated watching top prospects from Tallahassee go to other colleges instead of staying local, but this is an opportunity for the program to keep Jalen Wiggins, a four-star defensive end out of Rickards High School in Tallahassee, local. He's committed to the arch rival Florida Gators, but the coaching staff is making a big push.
-Linebacker Tavion Wallace
Short summary: The fan base has questioned the Seminoles' ability to land a linebacker, but Florida State has already landed four-star recruit Ethan Pritchard out of Seminole High School in Sanford, Fla. They do, however, have their eye on four-star recruit Tavion Wallace out of Wayne County High School in Jessup, Ga. He has listed the Seminoles as his top school of choice and is set to decide on July 2nd.
-Defensive back Gregory “Zay” Thomas
Short summary: Florida State defensive backs coach Pat Surtin Sr. has made his presence known in recruiting since arriving in Tallahassee. Surtin, the former head football coach at American Heritage High School, is helping the Seminoles land four-star defensive back Gregory Thomas. Surtin is scheduled to decide June 30 whether to attend Florida State or Clemson.
-Defensive back Chamal Arnoux
Short Summary: Surtain Sr. is once again working on recruiting a highly touted college prospect. The 6-foot-2 cornerback took an official visit to Auburn University and the Seminoles have been recruiting him for some time, receiving an offer on May 16, 2022. It's time for Florida State to continue the “DBU” trademark.
