iCoupon, the world's leading intelligent voucher platform, has partnered with some of South America's largest retailers and is now live in 22 airports across the region.
Through this partnership, iCoupon's automated voucher system is now live at four airports in Brazil, nine in Chile, two in Colombia, Peru, Costa Rica and Panama, and one in Uruguay. Retailers that have partnered with iCoupon include Morpho, Hot Dog Club, Flying Dogs, Paris6, A Saideira, Born Sense, Grupo Fit, Kozinhas, Qa2 Restaurant e Lanchonete and Servicios Aeroportuarios SA.
iCoupon said its expansion into the South American market will enable its European and North American airline partners to expand use of the platform to key locations across South America, providing a seamless solution for passengers whose flights have been delayed.
The iCoupon platform’s contactless technology allows vouchers to be applied directly to passengers’ boarding passes in the event of a flight being cancelled, eliminating the need for physical vouchers or complicated download processes for digital wallet solutions.
Richard Bye, CEO of iCoupon, commented: “Entering the South American market is an exciting next step for iCoupon and we are pleased to be making our first foray into a region with such great potential. The expansion of our intelligent voucher platform to South America will enable airlines and retailers in the region to streamline operations, increase efficiency and provide a more seamless experience for their customers. With more than 740 million passengers taking to the skies each year across Latin America, this is clearly a market where there is huge demand for our services and where technology like ours that streamlines the travel experience can make a huge impact.”
