The 2024 Glastonbury music festival is happening in style across the ocean, with headliners including Dua Lipa, Coldplay and SZA taking to the Pyramid Stage from 26-30 June.
One of the UK's biggest music festivals has attracted a host of celebrities to the festival, which has historically taken place through sweltering heat and rain showers. Facing unpredictable weather, stars have opted for footwear that combines practicality with style to navigate the festival grounds. Enter boots, which are functional yet fashionable; festival-goers can wear them in any weather and are comfortable to walk in for hours on end.
A host of British stars have been spotted attending festivals in this timeless style, including Sienna Miller, Alexa Chung, Cara Delevingne, Anya Taylor-Joy and Florence Pugh – see below to see their range of festival boot styles.
Sienna Miller
Sienna Miller will appear on the first day of the 2024 Glastonbury Festival.
Sienna Miller wore cropped rain boots from British company Barbour, which had the company's logo printed on the front of the shoe. These waterproof boots are a versatile option to rely on when the weather is changeable in the UK. The British-American actress paired the shoes with loose white trousers and a patterned beige windbreaker.
Alexa Chung
Alexa Chung will attend day three of the 2024 Glastonbury Festival on June 28, 2024.
Known for her style sense, Alexa Chung opted for high-heeled black leather boots. The It author teamed a loose yellow slip dress with a cardigan in the same light shade. She also prepared for the rain with a long black raincoat that matched her shoes.
Cara Delevingne and Anya Taylor-Joy
Cara Delevingne and Anya Taylor-Joy attended the opening night of the 2024 Glastonbury Festival on June 28, 2024.
Cara Delevingne and Anya Taylor-Joy showed off their overlapping fashion tastes by wearing matching boots at the festival. Delevingne wore the ankle-length all-weather boots in dark brown, while Taylor-Joy wore a light beige version. They both wore tan crop tops, which Delevingne paired with ripped denim shorts and Taylor-Joy in a white ruffled skirt.
Florence Pugh
Florence Pugh will take part in a Q&A session on day three of the 2024 Glastonbury Festival.
Meanwhile, Florence Pugh wore brown suede ankle-length boots as she took part in a Q&A session at the festival. The lace-up shoes completed her outfit, which consisted of a black cowl-neck halter dress and a colorful floral headpiece.
