Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez have finalized their divorce. Following the 30-year-old pop sensation’s filing for divorce from Gomez, 28, six months ago, their three-year marriage officially ended on Tuesday, March 19.
While the terms of their settlement were agreed upon in October of last year in a Los Angeles Superior court, they had to wait the mandatory six-month period for the judge’s order to become effective, which occurred today. As part of their settlement, the Grammy winner will provide a one-time payment of $1,250,000 to Gomez, a real estate broker, and cover $25,000 in legal fees.
However, Grande will not be obligated to pay ongoing alimony to Gomez, and the former spouses will evenly split the proceeds from the sale of their Los Angeles residence. Grande and Gomez exchanged vows in the summer of 2021 after dating for just over a year.
News of their divorce surfaced in the summer of 2023, shortly after Grande began dating her Wicked costar Ethan Slater, leading to speculation about infidelity. It is worth noting, however, that court documents indicate Grande and Gomez had separated well over a year before the divorce proceedings.
