Additionally, a recent report from Wrestling Observer revealed that a key match could take place at SummerSlam, with the report saying that the event will see Cody Rhodes defend his undefeated WWE title against Solo Sikore.
The news that Cody Rhodes will defend his undefeated WWE Championship against Solo Sicor at SummerSlam has sparked a firestorm of speculation among fans. Many have speculated that this high-profile match could set the stage for Roman Reigns' long-awaited return to WWE. While these are merely speculations, WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H recently added fuel to the fire.
Triple H hints at Roman Reigns' return
During a recent appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, Triple H praised Jacob Fatu and hinted at Roman Reigns' imminent return to WWE, stating, “When you talk about Tribal Chief, no matter who claims the title, you're talking about Roman Reigns. The lineage continues.”
“You see Solo stepping up as tribal leader. You see Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa coming in. They start running wild. And then Jacob Fatu comes in and the game changes. He's the game changer. You see the shift: 'We're in charge now. This guy is the new tribal leader. This guy is the new head of the table,'” he added.
Triple H added: “It won't be like this for long before he returns. Let's hope Heyman's nerves can hold up. He seems to be at his limit. It's an exciting time. Things are starting to move in a big way and they're looking to get a shot at Cody Rhodes and the WWE Title.”
With the news of the SummerSlam match and Triple H's teasing of Roman Reigns' return, anticipation for Reigns' return to WWE reached fever pitch.
