When it comes to procedural dramas in the United States, there is a huge library of shows to choose from. But The Rookie is one of his works that continues to go from strength to strength.
The show portrays Nolan, played by Fillion, as the LAPD's oldest recruit, and he has since gone from strength to strength in his career, with Fillion revealing which aspects of his character's development he enjoyed the most.

For our UK viewers, we have some exciting news regarding the release date of The Rookie.
It has been confirmed that Season 6 of The Rookie will premiere on Sky Witness and streaming service NOW on Monday 22nd April.

All of the main cast members are expected to continue their roles, including Fillion, who plays Nolan, who made a name for himself as a Los Angeles Police Department officer.
It was recently confirmed that Lise Chavez has been promoted to series regular for next season, which means Officer Celina Juarez will be seen in even more roles. But one character whose future is in jeopardy is True Valentino's Aaron Thorsen.
After making many on-screen appearances in Season 5, Thorsen was shot and rushed to the hospital in the Season 5 finale. Although the surgery was successful, the tense episode ended with Thorsen falling into a coma and the characters' fates up in the air.
It's also very likely that Christian Bruun will return as the villain in the new series after we first meet him in the dramatic Season 5 finale.

What will “The Rookie” Season 6 be about?
You can be sure that the series will continue in top form, bringing drama, comedy, and some interesting cases to Nolan and his LAPD team.
According to an ABC Entertainment release, “Following the attack in the explosive season 5 finale, the team must seek to understand why they were targeted and whether there is a bigger plan.” “It will not happen.”
So we can definitely expect season 6 to follow up on the drama of the season 5 finale, where a black SUV drives toward downtown Los Angeles as all the police leave that very location.
They were led to believe that Luke Moran was behind the attacks, but later a man in the SUV was seen laughing about Moran's involvement in the crimes.
Although his name has not yet been decided, the role will be played by Christian Bruun, who is described as “money well spent.'' He is known as one of the city's most prominent figures after using Luke Moran as a weapon against the LAPD. All the cops have moved away from our targets, and by the time they realize the damage we've done, we'll be long gone.'' It's horrifying, isn't it?
Well, it's almost certain that a new villain will rear its head in the new season and cause more problems for the team, but to what extent we'll have to stay tuned and find out.
