As price competition heats up, you can now travel between London and Birmingham for less than $10
Smart travelers can book train tickets between London and Birmingham for less than £10.
Avanti West Coast has slashed the price of its 'Superfare' tickets by 25% to just £9 each way.
To take advantage of discounted prices, passengers must book morning, afternoon, or evening tickets one to three weeks in advance.

The move was first reported by The Independent's travel correspondent Simon Calder.
He said the price cuts come amid increasing competition between rail and coach companies.
Sarah Copley, Commercial Director at Avanti West Coast, said: “We're working hard to get more people on board our trains. The new Super Fare tickets on the Birmingham route will be available for travel over 100 miles. At just £9, it's great value.” money.
“And with a fastest journey time of 1 hour 17 minutes, this train is the perfect way to travel between the capital and the West Midlands.”
Avanti West Coast launched Superfare tickets on a number of routes earlier this year. They include:
London – Liverpool one way £15London – Manchester one way £20London – Crewe one way £14London – Glasgow one way £30
Great deals on the London to Birmingham section are also available on other train lines.
Taking October 23rd as an example, Sky News found that several providers were offering advance single tickets for as little as £8.
